Rail Car Rides plus More!


I was just talking to some members about current photo's. These are a couple of years old but well worth taking a look at. That is our very own Denneth 'tiny' Lee in his Rail Car taken part in the July 2006 special in North Conway. It included Thomas the Tank Engine, Passenger train rides and Rail car Rides! Lots of things to eat and buy. It looks like there was even an Helicopter Fly By!

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
