Some pictures from the Sanford Train Show


It was a very good show. Sanford Memorial Gymnasium is a good place to meet. The Lion Club has great food. And folks got to reminisce and visit with lots of friends that they have not seen for a while. Here are a few pics of old and brand new members, Welcome George!

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
