It's a start.

     OK !  Carl just talked to the Mall and the paperwork is in process.  So, I asked the Mall Operations Manager if I can come in and measure the "risers" that they will provide us for our elevated line and said anytime. So, it is a start.  Thanks to Dick Cosgrove who is letting us use his trestles for the display.  You can see I was checking the minimum height to clear my tallest engine which needs 9 inches of clearance.  I think the risers are a couple of inches higher so we will need to build them up some more.  I should have an exact measurement tomorrow.  Then the bridge builders will know what height to plan on.

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
