It is Official ~ Display extended 1 week

  Carl has announced that the Maine Mall has officially invited us to stay after Christmas and continue to operate the train display in Center Court for one more week!  The popularity of the trains has been higher than was ever expected.  Plus the enthusiastic support of MGRS Members has made the event a huge success. We accepted and view the extension as a "Celebration Week" for all the members who have truly enjoyed this experience.       Please click here to view the latest schedule:

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
