Thank you to my nice wife and to Carl

Gigi decided to get me a box car for my birthday and she contacted Carl.  He found a very nice one that is perfect for my 'military' train.  Our grandson is in the Army 32nd Transportation Unit now back in Ft Carson, CO.  I love the car and you can see it is right at home with some of my decal cars that I have made up as a salute to the 32nd.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
