Nice job Eric

I truly did enjoy Eric's part-2 of his article in Garden Railways Magazine.  It was good reading.  I felt I was right there with him as he described his covered bridge building project.  I like the way he builds his models the same way a real building is made and I was impressed with his taking time to make and apply 2,400 shingles.  Plus, it sounded like he enjoyed doing it.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
