My IRON HORSE arrived!

  Thank you Scott!  Another great Issue.  I never took a magnificent train like that, but I do remember my trips from Boston to Vermont every summer and when you spoke of the dining car's white table cloths it triggered wonderful memories!  Train travel was terrific and it still is. 



  Just as a reminder we hope to see many MGRS folks and friends in Buckfield tomorrow at Ivan & Gerry's OPEN HOUSE.  It should be a great day to get together and enjoy trains and stories.  Looking forward to it.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
