My Favorite scene

 We all have our favorite little scenes on our railroad.  This is my favorite wildlife scene on my layout.  It shows the mother eagle and a pair of eaglets in their nest with the male about to deliver a fresh trout!  I like the moose in the background to sort of add to the idea of being in Maine.  In fact he looks right in the windows of passenger cars as they go by!

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
