Once upon a time

This is a vintage art print and I do not know if Frankenstein Trestle actually looked like this a long time ago.  (I assume it did).
 The trees have certainly grown up but it may have 'really' been a scary thing to go across!  





Yesterday it was nothing but fun.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
