New Event Listing for 2012 is available

Just to remind you,  the MGRS 2012 Event Calendar is now available on the left side of the Blog.   Of course most of the dates are not yet filled in, but it is a start. We will list all MGRS events and any other related activities believed of general interest to members.

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
