I was just updating the 2012 Events Calendar and we are really coming into a busy time of the year for Train Shows over the next couple of months.  I have tried to include links to other clubs and events from our own calender so you can find out a little more information.   We will be updating the Events Calendar all year long as we add Open Houses, Special Events, Meetings and a busy list of MGRS hosted summer outings which are planned. L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
