Welcome to new member Mark Stephens and his wife Judith

I was delighted to receive some pictures and a video from Mark Stephens. Mark first met Carl at the Maine Mall train display and they quickly struck up a friendship as Mark was interested to learn more about the G scale train that was included with the new business he and his wife now own and operate in Dexter, Maine known as the Brewster Inn.  



Here is a picture of the conservatory which links two sections of the house and provides a beautiful spot for combining sun, plants and trains!

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
