Now that is what I call a garden railway!!!









This is an amazing video.  I have never seen any train like this before.  The engine to me looks like it is  a scale 1:3.  The coaches look larger, more like 1:2.  Amazing, real steam and its in England.  Looks like it provides tourist rides out to some facility.  This is a good research project.  Sent to us by Eric who simply said : "Now that is what I call a garden railway!!!!!"

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
