Past Flower Shows



I took these pictures of the 2012 and 2013  Portland Flower Show  from off their web site.   I am glad we have a member who enjoys promoting garden railroading in such a good way.  As you know Rich Young is working on preparing his entry for the 2014 Show.   He will give us more info on that in future updates.











  I like the look of the fountain and the use of the blue lighting.  Nice job Mr. Young.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
