Snowy Day







  I love snowy days because I go back and find old pictures like this from several years ago when I started to build the water garden.  I still get the water hyacinth,although you only need a few.  They spread very quickly! I get them at Longfellow Gardens in Manchester Me, right beside Augusta.  Actually not that far from us.  In fact if it does not snow much on Saturday, I will be up to Augusta for the Doll House and Model Train Show at the armory.

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
