Quick Change






 I saw that stone sitting next to the crossing and said  that is perfect for weighting down my latest idea for a waterfall.  Presto, it literally took about a minute and the goldfish had a waterfall!  When I start talking waterfall you know that there is a four letter word creeping into my mind. . . "Mall" !





        Actually it works very well and the fish seem to enjoy it.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
