Here is an overall view of the station and Brenda’s Classics. I got the area mulched today as well.


“Brenda’s Classics” and got it populated with the business manager by the front door who is supervising the couple washing the 57 T-Bird. A photographer is doing a shoot of the yellow cobra with an attractive model posing by the driver’s side.



I put my lesson on pruning boxwoods from Nancy Norris in Tampa to work today also after picking up a specimen from the local nursery (next to the auto store).



I used Durarock painted black for the parking lot.

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
