Thank you to Dick, Paul and Walter





  Let me join the membership and Carl at the annual meeting yesterday when he thanked retiring Board of Directors Dick Cosgrove (Vice President) and directors Paul Corbett and Walter Fossett Jr. for their outstanding service and dedication.   We hope they will continue to serve as the opportunity arises in the future.  They are all real gentleman and have always brought credit to our organization.  Thank you all very much.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
