The times, they are a changing

Sam Carr, a new member who was at the meeting in July, has stepped up and volunteered to maintain the blog. He is going to try to retrieve the info that people inputted for Mall dates. He may need us to resend the dates. Keep an eye on the site in case he requests us to send our Mall dates.

Thank you Sam for undertaking this task. A lot of us look at the blog daily.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
