Candy Cane Train 2015 Run

The Candy Cane Train took over 2,000 passengers from Bath to Wiscasset and back on December 12 and 13. Sponsored by Tri-County Literacy, the train ride includes reading books to groups of children, a visit from Santa Claus, and Elves in  every car. There is also an operating model railroad display in Bath Station.

L.L. Bean Model Train Village Christmas 2022

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
