Action Adventure Movie Pilot Filmed in Eliot

Recently a local movie producer name Ian came to Terry and Sue Norton's garden railway in Eliot. He is re-creating the series of Godzilla monster movies which began in 1954.



The garden railway provided the backdrop for Godzilla pilot film as part of promoting the new series. The photos shown here were taken by a by a GoPro camera attached to a drone. The video will be enhanced with a sound track of TV reporters in a helicopter along with video effects of flames from Godzilla and gunfire from the soldiers





















Look for the trailer and opening date for the new movie series starting in mid-2019.

 The Model Train Village has been part of the Northern Lights celebration at L.L. Bean for several years. The full program can be seen at the  Northern Lights Web Page .  Trains run 9am-9pm from November 15 through January 1. It is located in the Camping Department and can be seen from both inside and outside the store. Model Train Village and window to downtown Freeport It has three trains that run on timers along with lights, skating rinks, a model of the L.L. Bean Store in the 1930s-1940s, and a model of the Freeport Train Station which is now at Boothbay Railway Village. The Maine3Railers O-Gauge Model Railroad Club built and operates this layout.
